So i got my hands on the Beta of Medal of Honor and i thought i would share with you guys, and if anyone else got the Beta plz share with us to discuss the game more.

So...my first impression of the game is that it looks like a combination of bad company 2 and modern warfare 2. (i know the online is by DICE)

-there is a problem that i found (but dont forget that its a beta and its normal to have problems), the problem is with the animation when i get killed, it somehow freezes for half a second before the animation of my death continues, it's annoying but i think it would be easily fixed.

-the way the soldier walks feels like bfbc2, but the gameplay is definitely faster than bfbc2.
-the melee attack (knife) is fast and simple.
-the handling of the weapons and the aiming is much smoother and easier than both mw2 and bfbc2.
-for now there is 3 classes to choose from, rifleman, spec-ops, and sniper. i don't know if there's gonna be more later on, but it really doesn't feel like it needs any more cause there's quit a variety of weapons and customizations to choose from.
-the way the grenade looks when it is thrown looks the same in bfbc2.
-sound effects are AMAZING.
-i also liked the selection of weapons in this game better than mw2 and bfbc2, because in those game they give us some advanced-hightech-specops-modern weapons that are cool but are not really used in wars. in this game they only used the weapons that are really good and used by the army or freedom fighters, so it kind of feels more real.
-the 2 maps provided are not so big, so it feels like a cozy classic shooter.

as for the online,
-i really shouldn't be judging cause generally speaking our connection in leb is crap. but still...
-i have to say that it is pretty fast online, i played earlier in the morning with no lag at all, but tonight when the connection sucks again i felt the delay.
-but for those who suffer from mw2 and how slow and bad it is to connect and find a game (like me), this game connects and finds a game in matter of seconds; amazing!; i think it's connects faster than loading an offline campaign.


generally speaking, i can feel that it has been made by dice, but still it is quit distinguishable than bfbc2, i would have to say, that after they fix a couple of bugs and glitches and i dont know what else, it will be the best shooter around, trust me, cause i really liked bfbc2 and mw2.

i'll keep on playing and reporting some more on the game, it's 5:40am i should sleep, but duty calls and i have to keep playing.......plz reply with ur opinions and ideas.
Helmand valley is a very big map i had the beta for 1 month and its great but lags more then call of duty
well i've played all night yesterday and i assure u that no way it lagged more than mw2, actually i dont know if there is a more lagging shooter than mw2. but anyways maybe it was something they fixed in the new update that i did yesterday, it was a very large update. and you are right Helmand valley is big, but it is an objectives based map and u barely need to run for 5 seconds from one objective to the next and you get to respawn in front or behind enemy lines.

One of the things i liked about the objective-based game is that it has different combination of objectives, 1st u have to plant a bomb, if u succeed u move on to the 2nd objective which is to push into a small base and capture it, then take control of a hill, then destroy AA-guns, so it's varied, and there is one APC in this map which 2 can control i think and it gives an advantage, but a couple of rpg hits can take care of it.

Something to add, the weapon customization system is very simple yet effective, like a classical MOH game (i've played all). i think am getting good at this game, yesterday i was able to stay alive for a bit to get some kill streaks, and what i like about them is that they always give you 2 options to choose from. the first time they offer a UAV or a mortar strike, and if you keep going they offer ammo or missile strike, but i wasn't able to survive any longer; but i think later on they give you stuff that benefit the whole team, cause every now and then something flashed in the screen and it says that now i have anti-Flakk jackets or something and i think i become more damage resistant but for a short period of time.
i played bfbc2 and yes, sound effects are amazing and interestingly there was no apparent lag when playing online.
so how do i get the beta?
to get the Beta you either should pre-order MOH, or buy battlefield 1943. i was able to get the beta because i have bought battlefield 1943 a long time ago when it was first released on psn.
If battlefield 1943 is in my account, how do I get the beta?
go to the store that u bought bf1943 from and look for the medal of honor beta i think it will be under the new releases.
