Yesterday i was watching on Discovery Science(my fav) Next World about Future Intelligence and they talked about gaming a bit. It is going to be used for real flight simulations for future pilots not to forget police raids and other stuff too. But for gamers we will be able to use Neural Augmentations to dive in the game so that we can feel, hear, and the smell the game.
As a beginning a scientist was able to invent a machine capable of of partially doing that by simply putting it on your head and it is like a helmet with sensors that can detect if you are happy or even concentrating when playing and of course controlling yourself in the game.
What is the challenge here?
Basically the burden is on the game designers and developers in general not to mention the programmers.
So guys/gals what do you think?

I thought this article was about some form of artificial intelligence. I think this is far fetched (not to say meaner things :-)) And that the advances we will see soon will be more in the field of AI and that is a field where there is lots to do and lots of potential and where it is more realistic to expect advances in the near future.

Once on discovery science i saw a new revolution in interactive entertainment by a Scientist in a Japanese university were the gaming world rotates around you in 3D illusion and he mentioned something about PlayStation 4!
Note:Dont worry i want to open a thread about AI it is going to be Artificial Intelligence versus Programmers (Present and the Future)
