chosen2k The question here is simple, is there some sort of lebanese bank account account (credit, debit, internet card etc...) that would allow an internet website to transfer (won) money to it ?
Kassem chosen2k wroteit is illegal to transfer money to your account from the internet ? No, you can accept money transfers to your bank account. But you cannot accept money that you've won in gambling.
chosen2k Let me understand this correctly, so the bank checks from where the money is coming they see a gambling site and they block the transfer. It's not that our accounts automatically block internet transferred money. From what i know, you cant even send your own money from a bank account to another (you own both) using the internet. Well then I'm gonna use Western Union :D

Gambling is monopolized by Casino Du Liban and a few other "authorized" shops. Even using Texas Hold'em Poker on Facebook for gambling (i.e: with real money) is prohibited by law and would get you locked up in prison.
rolf That's the problem, they put up so many laws, that in the end nobody follows any laws - especially since the Police are too ignorant to apply them. When a Law cannot be realistically applied, then you cancel it! Otherwise the legal system will be a joke, and that is what is happening now.
Joe This is normal behaviour. Online gambling has just been legalized in France (this month !!). Before that it was monopolized by government agency la Française des Jeux. Gambling has to be controlled to fight money laundering problems.
LebK You can transfer your money on your account as far as im concerned. Ive been using my bank account for bettings (football mainly) and ive been receiving my winnings normally.
