Yorgi wroteOhh. Finally, a beta version to work with
From the first glance, it looks like Opera 10+ :D
First Impression:
- Pretty fast browser. Even faster than before.
- Nice interface.
- Addons Incompatibility :( (hope will be solved in the next couple days)
- Less Memory consumption.
- Crash Protection
- New Add-on Manager.
About the addons incompatibility thing, if you urgently need an addon fix it yourself.
Extract the XPI package and edit the install.rdf file. It will contain something like this:
<em:targetApplication>
<Description>
<em:id>{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}</em:id>
<em:minVersion>1.5</em:minVersion>
<em:maxVersion>3.6.*</em:maxVersion>
</Description>
</em:targetApplication>
Edit the maxVersion thing. You can use wildcards.
After that, save the file and re-package the XPI package and install again.
@babum, you can use the noscript addon for firefox and avoid malwares.
