Nemesis-301 wrotewell, did you check out the link that i posted? it clearly shows that the gtx 480 is way better, and remember that 90% of the games say "the way its nvidia meant to be played" at the begining of the game...

of what I've learned throughout some major experience is that Nvidia are nothing but a greedy company with relatively used to be good products in the past, their cards are way overpriced, and did you actually understand the comparison in the link you posted??? its the
(Sli GTX480, Sli=2 Cards) have the 240fps not the freaking regular GTX480, the ati HD5870 is a much better choice in my opinion, many people are switching from nvidia to ati...
Ati has extremely good performance and low power consumption, unlike the gtx480 that power hungry monster...my card is a 3year old ati 3850 card, and still cranking some great amount of fps on the highest resolutions of the latest games..
The bottom-line imo ATI > Nvidia
