There is a right here for that but only for the politicians. :P
With the hope that most Lebanese people wake up one day and realize how blind they were !
Lebanon is not the right country for technology. There are lots of nice things here, if Lebanese could concentrate on these and take advantage to build better cities and take advantage of the nature, would be good.

that is a great way of seeing things. I myself believe that every country has its strong aspects,
for example lebanon as a great touristic structure which could be enhanced even more, also food is great.
What about money laundering(though it is good for the economy) and corruption?
i dont really think money laundering is good for the economy. it just lowers the coins value, increasing inflation and well crappying countries.

That's your second strike today (the first was the ugly model thingy). I'm going to bed now before you hit your third. Disappointed...

I think it has great potential beacause of it's climate, and the nature here, places can be built which would look like a paradise. Picture small houses spread around huge pine trees, away from noise and the city...
yes with no internet nor electricity problems. people could live a quiet life, kinda like switzerland

It is mostly available in 3rd world countries because the industrial countries dont want to risk it but come on guys do capitalists care if their money is dirty? Then why are they cleaning it? maybe just to the public and laws(nah not really).
well if it implies tax evasion then they prosecute them, also the fact that money laundering exist more in the third world countries is because laws there arent as tough as laws in first world countries.

but we have to reach a consensus on what we mean when we say money laundering, im refering to its broad term (tax evasion, drug incomes, illegal businesses, etc)
I say let's fix the electricity problem first before going anywhere.

Big emphasis on tourism though, but without electricity, it's not really complete !
They are reconditioning the roads from the airport to the South, which is causing a horrible traffic. Couldn't they wait until the end of the tourism season? But oh well, I'm not really mad about that, because they're laying down the optic fibers network as well :)
then its a good thing, hahaha
