I was actually surprised to see bytecode in Python. I mean if Python can pull off bytecode, than what is Java's edge in programming? Anyway, it's nice to see that Python is evolving.
Also I like how the article tackles the source code sharing problem in the intro.
Most of us in the software business are not in a position to release our source code to the public. As much as I love free and open source software, I also understand it’s not part of all business models.
I do not abide by this belief, but I enjoy hearing programmers say they love open source. Because, I believe that with money issues set aside, a true programmer will always want to share their code, as it is their real creation.
