I am planing to set up a Linux router (using IPCop or pfSense).
What I need is an x86 based machine with the following specification:
-Low power consumption (less than 20 watts).
-Totally fanless, even with no case fans.
-With at least two Ethernet ports (whether embedded or network cards, no problem)
-Cheap (less than 200 $)
Here are some solution I found after a quick internet search:
-ALIX boards (
http://www.pcengines.ch/alix.htm) (some of them are exactly what I want).
-fit-PC2i (
http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc2/fit-pc2i-specifications/) (exactly what I need, but it costs at least 300$, and I do not think that I will find it in Lebanon because it is made in Israel).
-Via embedded boards (
http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/embedded/boards/) (so many types, some of them are what I need).
Now you got the idea... I can continue searching on the Internet... but before, I would like to ask if there any such products in Lebanon???
