rolf no comment... http://www.google.com/search?q=c+strings&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official :) Seriously, though, can someone help me on how to manipulate *strings* in C?
Joe Keep in mind that a string is an array of char (don't forget that the last entry is '\0', so it won't mess up your count). Also keep in mind that an array is nothing more than a pointer to the starting address of the 'string' in memory. Remember that if you want to pass a string as an argument, all you need is to send the pointer and the length of your string, just like any other regular arrays. Also check out <string.h> String manipulation in C can be a nightmare when you start, but it gives you ranges you never imagined. Good luck, and be sure to post any problems you face ;)
