Because this thread is going with this so i decided to create a thread for gfs. cheers.

Be yourself dont act the way all Lebanese do it, and if you dis agree then your so called gf likes you because of your looks(cute) prestige..car...etc.
Basically the idea of Girlfriends/boyfriends is taken or sucked from the west which we dont actively use as the westerns use it.

Well you are not gonna marry her from first site so it is unnecessary to tell her everything about you so no need for lying.

One of the scenarios you might face: You are cute and handsome so she keeps looking at you if she was far away(Lebanese flirting) then when you /she come near the bad part comes and she screws it with overconfidence because of what her family and friends told her that HE shouldn't get you easily.

There are geeky girls but too bad they get used by normal guys who use them greedily and make them believe that they are friends. Because they are mostly hyperactive and very friendly so they can be eaten up easily.

You don't really GAIN a girlfriend, you more like LOSE your total freedom, or if you want to be optimistic, you settle for the least harmful girlfriend because you believe from experience that you cannot find better. Actually, after a bad "relationship" you will settle for any girl which looks a bit hot, with whom you can communicate, and who can reasonably be expected not to stab you in your sleep or poison you or (to be more realistic) cheat on you.
But I guess many didn't get there yet, and I hope they never will.

You do gain something though. Maybe like a friend (or a "buddy"?) you can count on - if you're lucky enough to have a good girlfriend.
Now ponder about what I said. Do you think weird tricks found a book written by clowns (pick up artists) with weird names are gonna get you a friend?
How many times do I have to point out that girlfriend contains the word friend?
