it maybe somehow technical, but it's PS3 related so...

i got an A4tech HD200 headphone that is very large and it has 7.1 virtual surround, dolby, and some more awesome stuff. now i know many people prefer real surround systems and stuff, but i need to use it so i don't annoy my parents at night while playing.

PROBLEM is, the ps only gives output audio through its normall audio output ports, and if u use a bluetooth headset it will only give u the communication sound, that is the sound of ur friends talking to u online, but the whole audio of the game is still on the tv, the same thing happens with my uber-usb-headphone.

i really need to use it so i can hear the whole audio of the game+communication, and it already has a mic that is working.

so can anyone help, maybe theres an easy way or the usuall lebanese way (bazzi2 w lazzi2)
Sorry i dont use communication, but Elchebib will surely help.
Easy , the headphone can be hacked for you to be able to plug it directly into the audio output !
Unfortunately, the PS3 doesn't output audio through its USB ports. It only outputs voice chat audio.

The only way to do that is to either hack your USB end of the headphones as jadberro said (although I would recommend hacking a cheap headphone first to try it out) or use this item.

When and if you can find such an item, plug your headphones into the USB end. The RCA female should go with the RCA male from the PS3. You then go to the audio settings and and select RCA output and it should work fine.
As a side question, from where did you get your headphones and for how much?
i got it from Nino for 45000, its an older model. but its pretty good.
