So seriously, how shocked were you when ghost was shot in the head? I was playing the awesome level and when i reached the end of it, i got goose pumps.
Yeah, it was interesting twist and didn't at all expect it.
The end is not the best end I've imagined for the game. But you know, they need a "good" end for their game to ensure that the next part (COD7) will be successful as well and has a good story to start with.
From another part, a large nuclear missiles attack would be fun to watch! but that would be the end of their story. (and their next "modern warfare" will me a man back in the stone age, using wood and rocks to kill animals :D )

Remember how COD6 started... Reminding the player of the major events in COD4 and adding "5 years later" is definitely a good starting point. Also add the missions "Inside" the United states territories, the attack on the white house, the betrayal of an american commander, the pursuit and assassination of criminals around the world (Brazil, Middle East, Russia, ...), etc...

All these events made me anxious about the next modern warfare, I'll definitely purchase this game. and i'm quite sure that i'll enjoy the gameplay, the story, as well as the multiplayer part.
haha yeah i was really surprised that ghost gets killed. And the ending with cpt price was even more surprising.
Im still waiting for a MW3 just to follow the story.

Activision might have inadvertently dropped a hint at the future of the Call of Duty series, via a series of domain registrations that've appeared online.

Call of Duty: Future Warfare, Advanced Warfare, Secret Warfare and Space Warfare have all had internet domains registered by the publisher, which is a not-so-subtle hint as to the direction the series is looking to head.

Speculation's already kicked into gear that this new, multiple-named futuristic CoD could be the entry in development at Sledgehammer Games.

However, from our understanding all Call of Duty games set in the present and future come under Infinity Ward's jurisdiction, so we're a bit confused.

Who wants laser guns in their CoD then?

Dont you bet there will be another Gaz/Ghost character in ModernWarfare 3 which was announced unofffcialy in a lawsuit. He could be called Gargoyl or Zombie or Fart i dont know. But ModernWarfare and ModernWarfare 2's stories are EPICCCCC

They have milked the series far too much.

Exactly bro.
But they're working with the mentality of if it ain't broken why fix it ?

+ there are estimations that COD black ops will sell more than 10 million units on first year of launch.

So expect COD for a long long long long time from infinity ward before any other franchise
@ Flakk: As long as they're successful in creating an amazing game over and over again, why moving to another ?
I really like CoD, and i don't want them to stop making more parts.

Edit: I assume that you didn't have the chance to play the game online, with a decent internet connection (where decent refers to a 15 ms latency :P ). Believe me, u'll change your mind :D

I have played CoD 4 multiplayer to death when it came out. Thats why i think MW2 is the same shit all over again.

I think Its too much for a franchise they should end it with either black ops or a modern warfare 3 for the sake of the story.

Frankly, for me, it's not about the story, It's about the In-Game action...

I remember that i finished the game in 12 hours and few minutes (The single player mode), and spent the rest of the time (37 Days)(Steam Count) playing the game online. And NEVER had enough. Until i came back to Lebanon.
