NullPointer wrotedone it as well. Sometimes the very first language you learn might not always be the language you use later on.
That's a given.
NullPointer wroteI don't know if this was your intent. I learned programming back in 1999 ... hehe what I used back then is WAY different from now.
My intent is to highlight a couple of things.
1) How people start
2) Whether they are biased to the language they started with
3) Their regret and thus their wish.
4) Their passion (Since it was anonymous and not a corporate survey, they clearly chose what they really want to learn)
5) The paradigms that the "new" language would promote whether they decided to stick with imperative or move to a different paradigm.
6) What learning means do they really prefer.
This will clearly help me highlight and cover the topics i intend to cover in my future blog posts.
Ofcourse there are other purposes as well :-)
