1- How to Post
Choose clear, informative subjects.
When asking questions, provide as much information as possible.
Make sure you respect the writing guidelines
2- Writing Guidelines
Always post in proper English and use a spell+grammar checker. This means, no SMS-style language, no elementary spelling mistakes and no excessive punctuation.
In case you feel obliged to post in Arabic, make sure you use Arabic characters, you can use tools like Yamli, Google Ta3reeb or Microsoft Maren to make the job easier. Writing Arabic in latin characters (Akala el waladou al toufaha) is strictly forbidden - instead, write: أكل الولد التفاحة
3- Personal Topics/Rants
Rants and complaint topics are frowned upon and may be closed as they are discovered. Posts of this type are much better suited for a blog or other personal web space and are unwanted here.
4-Ineffective Discussion
Threads that have been repeatedly proven ineffective and inflammatory will be locked after a warning from the moderation team. If you have identified a systemic issue, find a solution that works for you, implement it, then post.
5- Respect Other Users
Members should be respectful and courteous to other members. Rudeness to other members is cause for revocation of membership privileges.
6. Trolling is forbidden
A troll is a person who intentionally attempts to disrupt, cause controversy, incite an argument, and/or receive negative attention by deliberately posting provocative content.
Trolls frequently redirect the blame onto the community and its supposed failure to understand them properly.
7. No flaming
Flaming is directing negative or insulting comments toward someone. An equally or more negative response is often a consequence, further resulting in a cycling exchange of insults. Flaming fellow members will not be tolerated. Never resort to personal insults and please avoid sarcastic and patronizing language.
8. Bumping
Posting a single word or useless message (bumping) to attract attention to your thread is not allowed and will result in a warning.
9. No useless posts
Posting empty and worthless messages is not tolerated. Examples of worthless posting include replying with '+1', 'lol', 'me too', 'I agree', or ':)'.
10. Warez
No links to Warez are allowed on public forums.
This is pretty much what is important to this thread in particular.
One rule i would like to stress is: please dont burst out what you feel about a game or anything related to news posted like:
OMG I CANT WAIT.
So from now on breaking the rules is going to result in some common consequences like deleting your post or banning at most.
