Kareem, i am too far away from the DSLAM...like about 4km...dude 55db attenuation is almost outage ,or somehow vert poor, change the modulation and retry.
by some calculations, it seems that the highest speed i can ever get is 3923kbit/s(we won't reach that speed in Lebanon, anyways):P

thats mine (with down Attenuation=32):
Attainable Rate (ADSL1) – kbit/s

Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 16,5 / 26,5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 29,5 / 34,5
According to the test posted by Belal :
Attainable Rate (ADSL1) – kbit/s 8000
Attainable Rate (ADSL2) – kbit/s 21525
Distance to exchange (Meters) 559
Yay my phone line is future-proof for several centuries in Lebanon.

& Aly, use this: Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 16,5 / 26,5 = 17359. :/
:rolleyes:Yay my phone line is future-proof for several centuries in Lebanon.
Ah yeh my bad :P then my line is futur-proof for a century or two :(belal wroteLogin...broadband connection -> dsl connection -> details(up right corner)I can't find this information on my Thomson Gateway for the life of me. Where is it ?
