Gray Powell was handed an iPhone 4 to work on it's baseband and specifically, make the phone make calls. He was in a bar, he forgot the iPhone (It was dressed as a 3GS). A drunk guy gave it to another drunk guy which the next day realized it wasn't a 3GS. Gizmodo bought the phone for $10,000, but the phone was bricked by MobileMe. Apple wants the phone back. Gray Powell is a software engineer, he's 27. The next iPhone has 2 cams, flash (camera flash), better battery, microsim, etc...

So I added him on facebook. And I think Apple fired him because he just updated his status "I guess i'll go work on android from now on". Poor guy, all he was doing was celebrating his birthday.
Maybe he was paid to do that ? :P So gizmodo can get a scoop on the thing.
Yeah, at first I heard it was 10k until they posted about it. I am feeling this is a made up story. I heard this 1 post got Gizmodo more than $150,000.
