The Lag/Latency/Ping Issue In Lebanon, What's The Solution?

my title explains it well
hey everybody , well u all know the problem with internet conxns in lebanon
i used to be on cable user months ago and latency in Wow was like 2000 ms bla bla bla
finally i switched to IDM when they applied the unlimited night traffic since iam a heavy downloader ( believe it i downloaded 92 gb last month )
so my latency in day is like 180 - 280 making latency GREEN and playable
but when it comes at 11 before midnight
unlimited traffic opens and guess what? LATENCY DINGS TO 3000 MS even higher

and then i get dc
i talked with idm but welcome to lebanon no one replies
i thought abt switchting to ojero but as i said am heavy downloader i cant
anyone got a solution?
beside that is soditel gaming package for 66 $?

i went to dubai last november, i tried 20mb/s conxn and latency was 32 ms in 25 man raid
it was even faster than lan gaming

Well, a friend of mine has Sodetel Gaming Package with the static IP crap and I confirm to you that you need to forget about your raids between 11.00pm - 1.00am everyday. Outside these hours his latency is 120-175ms but when it's 11, expect 4-5k ms.

I am never experiencing that at night and i am with IDM. But used to be with an internet guy, his internet was from a satellite so the latency used to reach 20,000ms YEAH it does(at peek times) at norma times min:600ms.
but now with IDM 500/600ms max.

am talking with the support and they are trying to solve it but no luck
imagine that at 10:45 om my latency is 250
at 11 its 4000 ms
am getting constant dcs frm game
and kicked out of raids because of it

My ping is about 400-450ms always i rarely lag eve when i play Ninja Gaiden sigma 2 on ps3. My friend was with Cyberia and the same region as yours but he didnt have the double speed +his connection was really bad but he can open websites normally. My region is Bir Hasan.

well u r not far away from me ... this is sure a problem in the idm
i did the slowness test yesterday and find some Request Time out in some ips
i sent them the results and waiting their reply
one final question
do u have double speed at and unlimited night traffic? and did u try playing after 11 ?

Well...my friend has sodetel gaming package and I was at his place at 1am, he was downloading songs, video chatting and still getting 3 bars(green) on COD6 (ps3)!!!!

So I think it depends on the central, infrastructure in your area ..etc.

anyways plz let me updated abt the conxn but as u said i guess it depends on region. well mazraa central is busy i guess its central

Yup i have double speed and i used to play WoW on private servers it was good too.
They'll later call you to resolve your prob they did that to me but i really tawashton with emails they called me 4 times at home and they ask for "Kareem"(lol they memorized my name)

But at night the same thing happens my pings just like to go above 1000ms for no apparent reason.
So its best for me to play during the day.

i do same here but the problem is that eu players raid until 1 and2 after midnght especially my guild, so am getting kicked soon if i dun solve this :D

Then your prob is not latency but also Jitter and packet losses.

Thats Infinity Ward's Problem and their crap servers. The first month that the game was out (november) the multiplayer part was unplayable to many users.

edit: I just remembered, Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer works on a Peer2Peer system similar to torrents or limewire or whatever. So you dont connect to a host, you connect and download and upload data to every user in the same game you are in. and thats why i guess its laggy.
