elchebib wroteThere is something called "Billing address" and "shipping address". Your billing address should match the one attached to your credit card. You can change your billing address to match the one attached to your credit card and it'll easily work. I've purchased several time from both the US and UK amazon and they charged my credit card without any problems.
Yes im aware.
My apology regarding what i said:
it didn't work for an obvious reason: My US address didn't match my credit card address that has been issued in Lebanon
I wasn't clear, the problem was for some products at amazon(it was a computer equipment as i recall) your shipping address country or zone must match your billing address country or zone. The same was for newegg.com for all their products. Please note that this was a year ago and amazon.com update their policy frequently.
for other products like books and clothes for example it doesn't matter, even without a third party(shipping company), i know someone who it did at amazon buying some books. I also did it (more than a year ago) for some educational cds but not from amazon, less than 2 weeks Liban Post was at my door delivering the product for no additional charge. Note that if you want to do it this way ask for your postal code(xxxx xxxx) from Liban Post.
if someone else has another view plz let us know, that was my 2 cents
