This is not FUP'ed i am Fu***d. what do you thing is wrong.IDMMMMMM.
I am not FUP'ed too and I am not even using the internet at my house latelty at all I have tons of cumulated quota and haven't downloaded anything during the unlimited night traffic since weeks or even months, I was downloading a 35 MB files yesterday at about 9 PM and I had a download speed of 12-13k while I had a solid 55-64k speed in the past anytime of the day.
It seems that they now have customers way more than their network and available bandwidth can handle, that's the only explanation I can think about.
I guess one should expect that since the amount of centrals being equipped to handle ADSL connections is increasing every month. Add to that the number of subscriber increase and you'll definitely start to see the constraints of the available bandwidth. In addition, summer time is coming up which means even more consumption. I just hope that the IMEWE thing and the fiber optic cables begin to show some kind of improvement.

And because of that, I've completely switched my online play sessions in the day because during the evening and nights to the afternoon.
Oh so i am not the only one experiencing that, this is also my first time i maintain my internet in summer too.
in the last few days, Minister Nahhas was said (OTV) that the fiber network will be ready by maximum of 15 months in all regions in lebanon, that's mean in July 2011, Stay Tuned ;)
If you are talking about the IMEWE then Tripoli is gonna be the first place to have it logically then the Capital Beirut...

No he meant the fiber infrastructure that is replacing the copper wires all across Lebanon.
The IMEWE cable should be here by june 30th.
but on the news they said the opposite. First the local fiber optics then later next year the IMEWE.
IMEWE first, then local fibers, bcz IMEWE is already deployed and still some touchs to be finally in service.

It sucks...

monkey balls
lol we all saw it on Daily Star as the internet bandwidth will increase 10-20% this month while Al-Akhbar said that it will increase by 10x.

according to a typical Lebanese mentality 10-20% increase is the same as 10x, so it wont make any difference
and if its a fiber optic stuff they're talking about then the increase should be at least about 10x, because 10% improvement is total BS, and if that's the objective from fiber connections to get some minor internet improvement which I doubt if actually happened, they shouldn't bother working their asses off exchanging the wires or whatever is the plan
so you're saying the increase already happened ?!?!?!

the only increase that happened, was at the level of my blood pressure !
chosen2k wroteso you're saying the increase already happened ?!?!?!
Nope nothing happened yet. And we wont feel an increase until 2011.
