Indeed, jailbreaking is mainly the installation of an openSSH server on your iPhone. However what most (if not all) people look over is that the password of the root account of all iphones is known ('alpine' in case you're wondering).
A first worm (Ikee I think) has been discovered that exploits this vulnerability. Just think about it, if you don't know how to modify the root password, don't jailbreak your phone.
PS It goes without saying that unjailbreaked iphones are still safe... for now...
Thanks for the warning, i heard about that. And as i remember changing the password is not a big hassle.
But first things first...
Unlocking the damn phone is a priority :)
