This date is also for the world to have HD broadcasting but in Lebanon they are currently discussing whether to have DVB-T or DVB-S (one terrestrial the other satellite) so it is like getting 720p native channel on you HDTV but then you cant use pirated receivers or the guy who gives you for 10$-15$ per month may not be able to do it or just get a plain old SD channel but from all this if the government succeeds then all the remaining bandwidth will go to the internet backbone instead of the normal channel broadcasting.
