Hey all,
I'm looking for a way to run MacOS on vmware. I need to use the IPhone SDK to work on my final project in the "human computer interaction" course.
I have VMware Workstation 7 and the Snow leopard. Anyone tried to run OS X on VMware before ?
i tried the 10.5.5 version of MacOS. it worked pretty well, but the SDK requires the 10.5.7 version and above to run.

I'm also looking for a IPhone development tool for windows. any suggestions ?
I wanted to develop for iphone, I started downloading the SDK i think (forgot the name)
Anyway I remember I read about a specific VW that supports OSX (I dont think VMWare does). Let me check the name and I'll be back.
iPhone
SDK 3.1.3 with xCode 3.2.1 for SnowLeopard
Compatibility:
this package requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X SnowLeopard version 10.6.0 or later.

iPhone SDK 3.2.2 beta including iPad support
Snow Leopard 10.6.2 only.

I know that google said that :)
But i'm looking for a tool that runs on windows (other than Mobi.one) or a way to run Mac on vmware.
Never mind, I lost the link, but found this:

This is a powerPc Emulator:

Also check out the comments at the bottom of the above page, they might be interesting. Example:
Forget about all of this, use Kalyway's MAC OS X Leopard boot disc. It supports most common PC hardware. On my typical HP Compaq CMT 530 desktop PC, it booted fine and then I chose the NetExtreme Gigabit network driver from the install packages and then it installed correctly on my second SATA drive. I have sound, network, mouse, keyboard, the only thing is my GeForce 6400 GS, but I think there is a KEXT I can download to fully adapt it. Anyhow, it works fine without the driver, only that it's stuck on 1024x768 resolution... which is still not bad.
I know, you can use google, but I thought I already did it, so I might as well share.
Good luck!

(PS: I have OSX 10.5 installation image (DMG) if you want - oh wait, had it... my HD is not working anymore. I might be able to reconstruct it from the DVDs... anyway if you need the installation image, let me know, I'll see what I can do.)
Ultra Fast Internet here. P2P not allowed... any direct links ? anyone cares to upload the file for me.
