rahmu wroteI agree with rolf, there are much more than just 10 functions. Actually one of the reason I am loving PHP is because of the abundance of native functions. Just yesterday I found out about implode(), a function that joins arrays elements in a string. Coming from a C background, how could I not love this?
along with explode() and list (which is a language construct)
Ex.
$str = "hesse, rudolf ";
list($name, $forename) = explode(",", $str);
$name = ucfirst(trim($name));
$forename = ucfirst(trim($forename));
print("Welcome, Mr. $forename $name!");
// output:
// Weclome, Mr. Rudolf Hesse!
you might also like array_pop(), array_push(), array_shift()
Moudi wroteYOu will never use show_all_content Something like this,
It shows all the content of the file i don't remember the correct code >_>
Rahmo lol @ your sig
this?
readfile() — Reads a file and writes it to the output buffer.
It can be useful for downloaded content. For example downloading an image by sending image hearder then sending data through this function, or sending data from another file if this image is not available.
I agree though,
echo file_get_contents($path);
has the same effect AFAIK, so maybe there was no use to creat a new function.
