ijanawra Hey, are there any bookstores like Borders, Waterstones and such in Beirut? If I want to buy novels or see the bestsellers? If so, are prices normal or are they a lot more expensive than the US/UK?
Ayman You can see Malik's bookshop or Librarie Antoine they are quite good stores and if you need a book that is not available at their stock they can request it for you from abroad :)
J4D they sell at about the same price you would find in the US , it sells usually for the price written on the book itself by the publisher . we have many stores including Virgin megastores , Antoine libraries and many others .
GN90 check the site http://www.antoineonline.com/ seems that you can buy online too :p Lib Antoine has a bigger collection than Virgin There is Lib Antoine at ABC Achrafiyeh, Sin el fil (the biggest) (near Habtoor) and i think in Hamra
Ayman Oh great, Ayman, where are these two? Can you tell me which areas? Thanks You can find Malik's bookshop in Hamra next to AUB, and Librarie Antoine they have one branch in Hamra street and another in Horsh Tabet, sin el fil. :)
ijanawra Guys, thank you so much! I'm so excited to be able to find all of my favourites! I'll definately be checking all of the stores out :) Thanks again
