you are right, but was low on budget, so no SLI for now and of course becoz its intel, no overclocking....

but as i said will run some big games soon to test its performance

Resident Evil 5
1 Min Benchmark Test, 1920*1080, C16XQ AA, Vsyn On, All Details High ---> 47fps
1 Min Benchmark Test, 1920*1080, x8 AA, Vsyn On, All Details High ---> 58fps
1 Min Benchmark Test, 1920*1080, all details off, AA OFF, Vsyn OFF ----> 140fps

Operashion Flashpoint Dragorn Risking
Ingame, 1920*1080, 8x AA, Vsyn On, All Details High ---> 55 fps

I think the results are quite better than expected

That's good to hear. I guess all you can do when you encounter more demanding games is the tune down some settings.

um yeah nice scores.
can you test GTA 4 and Crysis for us if you have them ?
Crysis is game that uses the GPU the most and GTA 4 is the game that uses the CPU the most

yeah i liked it. i noticed a big performance difference between it and vista. Vista is toooooooooo slow.

hey i want to ask something:
when i had vista and i had this error while playing games about the nvidia driver stopping and recovering "nvlddmkm stopped and had been recovered" . i looked it up the internet and they said it is a vista error so i upgraded to windows 7 and the problem persists. every time I'm in a game it freezes, than there is a black screen than im in the game again. and when i quit the game there is a message about the display drivers stooped and being recovered. (NO BSOD, only occured once while playing CSS but never after it)
i don't know why this is happening, but it is very frustrating and annoying.

i've tried every possible i found on the net : format didn't work, under clocking my GPU and Vram didn't work either, updating bios, removing rams, updating drivers, downgrading drivers, modified drivers, ..... . so anyone can suggest what can the problem be ?
i tested the VGA temp also to check if its a heating problem and it is 59 idle and 80 when i ran crysis so this is the max it is getting, seems normal to me.
i appreciate any help.

Some users have solved the problem by actually uninstalling a windows hot fix, the "KB952287" patch.

Give it a shot and let me know.

I had this problem in my other rig while playing Red Alert 3. But that was almost a year ago. As some updates were installed for both vista and nvidia drivers, never faced it again. To be honest never figured out what was really happening. GPU temp was running cool and everythin else was fine, just didnt know why it happened.

I have Crysis ill make sure ill try it. But again, for some reason i dont think benchmarking with crysis is really a benchmark. I've read many articles that this game was poorly developed, and thats why it eats up the pc even those that are super. My other rig (quad q6600 w/ bfg gtx8800 overlocked) ran it @ around 35fps with detailes set to high (i remember that there was ultra) and with 2xAA. Ill see how this new rig runs it and will update u.

change that LG dvd writer, lg is trash when it comes to dvd writers, the two i baught in recent years gave me problem+- 3 month after installing them, simply crap! they stop reading some types of media. stop burning and bla bla.. i suggest u get a samsung

My LG dvd writer has been running for 2 years and didnt have a problem with it and i use it alot
i have two LG's on my other pc which have been running for 4 years now and no probs.
dunno actually dvd roms confuse me, some work for years and some just stop working after a few month

problem finally fixed and im not sure what was causing it but i updated my sound driver and it never reappeared :) . i wonder why a VGA driver error was solved by an audio driver update :P

great to hear that...and as i told wasnt sure what caused it...but it happened for about a month and stopped suddenly...not sure which update fixed it :)

Hey there, i used to have a 32' samsung HD lcd for like 2 weeks, but its a nightmare. playing COD and other shooter games are more difficult ;)

use HDMI v1.3 use high speed because it supports 3-D you need the display of course too (to support it).
