sin wroteLast month I got myself the Pesco box, and I purchased an official Wise card.
For the first week, gaming was pinging at 200-300 ms, and download was stable, even at night.
After that, my download speed at night was sometimes barely reaching the 1 KB mark!
I figured out that it was due to the same bullcrap: fair usage policy.
So this month I switched to IDM Pesco. For now, the speed is back up. But the future doesn't seem promising, since IDM also updated their fair usage policy on their website.
That's why I applied for IDM ADSL, and I expect everything to be finalized in a couple of weeks.
Will I be getting the same stupid service or this should be different? Any ideas?
I've been with IDM ADSL since 1 year ago and didn't have any problem with their fair usage policy. The most downloads and uploads I did during the unlimited double-speed night was 14.2 GB (10.6 download, 3.6 upload), and that's excluding the 4 GB they give you for one month for a 512 kbps package. So that's a total of 18.2 GB of data. There was no degradation of speed or any degradation in connection quality.
Of course, I don't do that each and every month and I'm not sure if you can do that each and every month without some kind of consequence.
Hope this helps....
As a side note, having an ADSL connection is much more stable than the wireless Pesco (or any other wireless connection).
