Hey guys,
Whenever I try to manually search for a GSM network on my cellphone, I end up with the following to select from:
RL MTC Lebanon
LBN OGERO Mobile
alfa
MTN
SYRIATEL
I can understand the first 3 selections, but what's up with the last 2?
And concerning the Ogero Mobile thing, does it mean that they're planning for a GSM network anytime soon????

where do you live? if you live near the border or near the sea, it might be normal. plus, usually in areas where few people live (desert, sea, or any other poorly populated area), they put 1 anthena and broadcast with the highest power to cover the biggest area possible, so it could reach lebanon.
and you also have the emergency numbers network. even when you don't have coverage, you can dial 112. that's because it uses a network different than MTC's or ALFA's. i'm not sure if it's supposed to show up though, or if it is related to ogero.

Sometimes, alfa... but rarely... I live in Beirut near Jnah.. I think the egyptian embassy is scrambling the signal but still alfa reception is weak here..

Its also your cellphones that might be very sensitive.
