They are asking you about your ADSL modem
administrator username and password which are different from the
PPPoE username and password (by the way, to reconnect return to the main page, by typing 192.168.1.254, then press connect).
There are 3 couples of (username + password) related to your
OGERO ADSL modem:
1)
Administrator Account username and password: (used for logging into the router with an
administrator capabilities)
-username: unknown (I do not know anyway to get it for the
Thomson TG585 v7, because this kind of modems do not allow telnet or ftp, for other types of modems try Kareem's toterial)
-password: unknown (I do not know anyway to get it for the
Thomson TG585 v7, because this kind of modems do not allow telnet or ftp, for other types of modems try Kareem's toterial)
2)
User Account username and password: (used for logging into the router with an
user capabilities)
-username: user
-password: user
3)
PPPoE username and password: (used for validating your connection to the ADSL server)
-username: L******@ogeronet-***.com (should look like this)
-password: WrkBNR9N8vn$fws4LFH1GP5$4Ldy5qu4 (should look like this, and it consists of 32 characters)
Now, what you should do?
-Get the PPPoE username and password, save them in a text file.
-You have to rest your modem to factory defaults by pressing the reset button on the back side of the modem for more than 30 sec.
-Now login to the modem and configure it as you like.
-If OGERO had disabled the reset button, then you can do nothing other than buying a new cheap ADSL modem and configure it as you like.
