SortOfGeek I tried the BF6 beta and while I liked it, it was hard playing alone. Its definitely a very different feel and gameplay than CoD but the group I play with weren’t into BF6 and playing such games alone can become boring and not as engaging at some point.
Updates from my side: paused CSotN for now. Started BO7 and love the new maps. They feel like a combo of previous maps in the past (BO6 and MW3). Played an hour or 2 and it was overall fun (TDM, Dom, Hardpoint). The new Overload mode is also fun. Goal is to take an item to the enemy’s location to score points and its becomes frenetic to defend your location as well as supporting the person carrying the item. Haven’t tried the zombie or end-of-campaign mode yet so will see how those will go.
Borderlands 4 going smoothly. They could have toned down the map size but it suffers from the Assassin-Creedification of so many question marks on the map. I wish it was smaller and more focused. Either way, still fun to play as the gun play is smooth especially after the last update where they ironed out so may issues.
Otherwise, ARC Raiders is phenomenal. I never see myself playing extraction shooters but this one clicked so well. Very satisfying loop of collecting and getting the hell out. Creates some crazy scenarios. And paranoia is at maximum if you see other players. Holstering your weapon helps sometimes in avoiding conflicts.
