i was just wondering about VISP internet provider
the offer is 256K and unlimited downlod for 33$

is there something wrong with their connection or is the unlimited thing just a lie ?
alos they say up to 256k does it mean theo download speed doesent reach 30kb/s or what?
i was reading the other topic about VISP but its not clear

can someone who has a VISP account give me some feedback

What do u mean under "unlimited" ?

1. Yes - we do not have a fixed GB quota like Ogero and other ISP,

2. But we have a FAP, which means that if you want to keep the account 24 hours under maximum speed downloading torrents and others non-stop.... you better search for another ISP :)

so what is the limit you guys give us on the 256K account

like 400MB a day i used to download with VISP. If you exceed 1GB download a day, your account will be downgraded until the end of the subscription. It is my personal experience anyway..

Maybe, Don't rely on what ive told you as it is only my personal experience and not the FUP.

Downloading from v-enjoy, indeed, does not affect the quota and speed anyways. In days we are adding
some +5TB :cool:

is it true that the download is unlimtied(without FUP) from 12 to 7

is it safe to download 500 mb per day without reaching the FUP limit

is the sharing ratio better on the 55$ account?

I'll add to these questions :

When exactly does the downgrading trigger, in both 256k and 384k accounts ? A clear insight on the fair usage policy is demanded. All we get is "if you download too much you will be downgraded" ... how much exactly is "too much" ?
Lets make things fair, guys:

When other ISPs publish at least part of the answers to your questions, we will answer as well :)

Let people show that they respect truth. It would be a great start.

I am, let say - very sure. But better ask Denys, he is the one mainly in charge with this. It should be fair not to affect the FUP.

Also, sorry to say, but our support is quite more confident in stuff like Facebook, poker, pool and similar online activities than v-enjoy

I agree, it will affect and it used to be counted as downloading from internet usage. This is what used to happen to me when downloading DVDs.

Anyway, maybe something has changed now.
