Got a stuck or a dead pixel in your LCD recently ? tell us how you dealt with it ! :D

i just got a dead pixel in my 2month old LG 22incher ::@:@:@:@
its covered by a 3 year Warranty from Computer Echo(official distributor of LG in leb) though dunno if they actually replace a 1 dead pixel LCD panel, anyone know of their dead pixel policy ? mailed them twice on their technical support page but no answer.
yes i know hot to fix them , there is a small java application that you run it fixes these wait ill give you a link ;) give mee shee 10 muinits :)
I got a program called UDpixel but didnt do anything, it said that dead pixels are not fixable by software only stuck pixels are fixable. but dunno if theres something else.
whats its color is it , gray ? or the same color if the screen was off ??
It can be a stuck pixel, you can run Jscreenfix and give it a try..
no its black.. theres no light whatsoever coming out of it.
when i put a white background its very well shown.
try this at your own risk to remove dead pixels :)

    1. Turn off your computer.
       2. Get yourself a damp cloth, so that you don't scratch your screen.
       3. Apply pressure to the area where the dead pixel is. Do not put pressure anywhere else, as this may make more dead pixels.
       4. While applying pressure, turn on your computer and screen.
       5. Remove pressure and the dead pixel should be gone. This works as the liquid in the liquid crystal has not spread into each little pixel. This liquid is used with the backlight on your monitor, allowing different amounts of light through which give off different colours.
run this for about 20 minutes to remove a stuck pixel

you are welcome buddy thats why i told you at your own risk :P i would have tried it ;) it seems a very rational fix according to the explanation :P
Try Jscreenfix first. If it does not work, then try what jad suggested. I have tried it on my phone's screen and it worked. Also, do not feel scared applying a little bit of pressure on the screen. You're not gonna break it if you're gentle. Treat it as a lady :D
tell us where all that leads :)
i ran jscreenfix for about 40minutes and no luck :( i guess ill have to... nah i wont do it.
in my opinion you should try :P  you have got nothing to loose , maybe except for a screen :P
Get a gun. Shoot a pixel. You will have nice hole :-)
Tell it is warranty case, dead pixel made you so mad. If they will refuse, they will make you mad too :-)

P.S. I have maybe few dead pixels. I dont care. :-)

It is already dead why should he shoot it? :P :P
lol @ nuclearcat good thinking :P
but the thing is that its only 2month old and already a dead pixel.. if it was like a year old i wouldn't care.
