I would like to show you my robots and creations tell me what you think :rolleyes:

ok first this is how my desk looks like when im working

The first thing I'm going to show you is my Wall-E
It's still not finished yet, you can see the electronics in the picture (wireless receiver, battery..)

The second thing is my "arduino", home built – it's an artificial intelligence board
which I can plug to any of my robots, easy and simple to build, not too expensive

mohqas: Nope, not expensive at all :) And Jadberro: awesome! I'm an electronics guy too, but i've never got my lazy ass to build such ambitious projects, i'd always stop at the design phase :P Anyways, keep up the good work :)

@ mohqas , as tich said very cheap a single one of those arduinos maby costs under 12 $ complete with an atmega chip worth 7.5 $ @ tich : thanks :D @ Xsever : the components are 1 atmega 168 chip 1 voltage regulator transistor i forget the codes but if you are interrested i may do a small tutorial ?? 1 time crystal and thats it :D if you have any questions ask :)

@ mohqas : there are only two large and reliable components stores in lebanon so its low availability but about every thing can be found between those 2 ;) ( EKT : katranji bros ) and ( boujikian )

in worst case scenarios, you can buy arduino kits online for as little as 15-20$ (without shipping fees)

if u get a kit, they simply send the printed board and the components, just as you would do at katranji. you still get to do all the soldering yourself. plus, the custom printed boards that katranji can do for you are not such good quality...

wich one :P ?? wall-e moves around wireless / the tank also moves around wireless and is very menuverable and can go over obstacles :D / the extra large one called "VALIANT " its hand moves up and down with the graple can open and close . and the robot moves in all directions , built in sound system and two cameras .

you can get an idea from there about what can be done.

yeah i know, but these are good just when testing. its what u use in the initial phase of a project. for the end thing its better to use pcb. fewer points of failure due to cables getting ripped, melting, getting damaged,... and the size of thr board can be reduced and optimized.
plus, even these boards from katranji are bad, suffered a lot from soldering points getting removed from the board.

sure i know ,, its still a prototype i discuses the issue with amir katranji , if he wanted to print the board he wants to print many , over 200 !!!!! i dont want that many so i had to do it this way :D

hmm AtMega? in lebanon? i wasn't able to find an AtMega chip when i was looking for one a month ago.. :/ I usually get my stuff from CB Electronics in Sin el Fil, and the guy said it'd be very hard to find one. Didn't check Boujikian at the time. Could you please provide directions for Katranji? thanks.
