Alfa to Launch 3G in Lebanon (Q4 2009)

We managed to stream a live video interview Johan Lallerstedt Vice President-Marketing & communications Ericsson and Jeremy Foster Marketing Director, Marketing and strategy Middle East. The cool news is that Alfa which is one of the two mobile operators in Lebanon, will launch a 3G network at 21 Mbps speed in Q4 2009 ( last 3 month of this year) thus solving the Internet bandwidth problem Leanness currently experience.

this is really bullshit. If they want to improve why don't they first install some more BTSes, so the users
won't need to try 2-3 times in order to make a call or wait several hours for an SMS to arrive...

There is 3G already, IPWireless hardware. Wigo using 3G. I guess it will become "Illegal" soon.
