samer After I sent a message yesterday night, I noticed Alfa is now pushing credit info to their pre-paid (Active) customers for free. You can also check your remaining balance by typing *11# . The other cool thing I noticed is that SMS now costs 0.36 units <=> 10 cents! (180 units at 50$, 0.36 unit per SMS) I didn't call though, can anyone tell us what the new rates for calling is? (pre-paid, we know about post-paid).
xterm God, i've never really noticed the "SMS" cost. Its so ridiculously overpriced even now. You can purchase bulk SMS with a gateway (1 -> 10000) for 4c each, (10001 -> 999,999) for 3c each, (1,000,000 -> ) for 2c each.
gilly I posted about this yesterday in the other thread about prepaid to postpaid. Apparently, when the new prepaid cards come out in April, the cost per minute will drop from $0.50 to $0.36 So talking 1 minute = 1 sms next month :P But the thing is, the three month validity recharge cards will cost $75 a pop, same as getting a $25 card every month I guess.
