well it's better than before , pingtest used to give me 800 ms above , ive done the test at 1:36 pm today..

dunno why the pic is so small , well ping is 466 ms jitter 106 ms , and line quality as expected : "F" , a big fat "F"!! , the server is frankfurt germany ( where my wow server is located ) , and im a VISP proud customer...

well I'm not sure because im actually behind a reseller not direct customer with VISP. there is something wrong with your connection, that jitter is really high and its from a server in Jerusalem which isn't pretty far from us, your latency should at-least be something like 270-300ms and jitter= 15-20ms, probably your on a wireless if so maybe your getting a weak signal so it times out sometimes..

I'm a direct customer. I can ping visp dns for 7.8 to 12.7 ms.

Let me ask you a little question about your pings, why are you all using jerusalem or other servers in Israel as your speed test server? I don't know if you are aware of but there are not direct cables (at least not legal) between israel and lebanon, so everytime you press test now, your data will have to travel all the way to cyprus or syria to then go back to israel.
The best thing to do is to test will servers that you know are actually in direct route with you and try the countries that will be hosting your gaming servers, so that you can actually measure up how your network performs.

I would personally recommend you to go to speedtest.net, settings, and change your default server to something in a direct route.

I didn't manually est Jerusalem. pingtest.net just defaulted to that server.

yes because pingtest and speedtest select the servers based on direct distance rather than the distance the data has to travel to get to the server, thats why Im saying that is better to choose other server rather than the default one given by pingtest, Im not in any form blaming anyone of anything, im just saying that this could be one of the reasons you are getting high ping

i'm a VISP customer for years now, and i pretty much miss the old days where the Fair Usage Policy wasn't yet implemented. i used to download 1 Gb/day...it was a nightmare for them :) hihi.
right now, i'm just hogging all my downloads to the mornings, which give around 400 mb on a good day. but it kills me when i see what people are getting in the advanced countries!

Nuclearcat, anything wrong with the connection at the moment? Ping is 1720+ in online gaming (not spikes, it's constantly high).

now 2300 and up.

Also problems with https and anything not http.

What is the reason behind having more than 10 private ISPs if all of them are buying bandwidth from OGERO (so they are playing the role of OGERO resellers)?

Is VISP planing to buy bandwidth from OGERO after they finish the I-ME-WE connection?

They are one-way satellite Internet.

OGERO only gives DSL as far as I know. Other providers offer other connection types.
