MegaCool wroteI'm a Visp user with the supposed to be 256Kb download speed, but since like 4 or 5 days ago, the internet speed went extremely downhill, i cant even upload a 40KB image on facebook, Downloading a 3MB file takes almost 20 to 30 minutes as opposed to 5 minutes before...
heres what my internet speed looks like now

I'd like to know what is the problem nucleargeek, is that the new internet standard speed?? because it is literally useless...
You should check account information at https://customer.visp.net.lb/
OK, lag issue gone. Are the problems causing the lag fixed? or do things have manually be fixed/restarted?
yes im behind a reseller, and i've checked the https://customer.visp.net.lb/ but i cant login to my account it says Access denied, we apologize, but you are not allowed to use this service
Then you are not VISP customer, most probably from Sub-ISP. Their policy can be different from VISP policies.

It is an issue in system code, trying to troubleshoot with developers...
Monday i will try to avoid those lag increases after upgrades.

but if it happens on Monday, it is something you can manually fix (even if inconvenient to do so), correct?
lag was back but then disappeared.

Browsing speed is notably better.
Visp's connection has been excellent yesterday and today , i hope it stays like this !!

the weird thing is that when i check the ping using pingtest i get around 1500 , but internet surfing is super fast!

Yes, it is fixable. Hopefully some good news coming next week.
Nuclearcat, lag is back.
1715 ms (not sure if it was better during the day. I was gone since noon but kept PC on)
Epic lag on Garena.

It's been fine since the last two month, but just today, it tripled.
What's Garena. will it work on Linux under wine?
Nuclearcat, I sent you a PM :)

nuclearcat, I'm getting this error from caching proxy when I try to log in to many websites.

The following error was encountered:

* Valid document was not found in the cache and "only-if-cached" directive was specified.

You have issued a request with a "only-if-cached" cache control directive.
The document was not found in the cache, or it required revalidation prohibited by the "only-if-cached" directive.

Again, now the problem is with FUP at peak time.

I am just doing simple browsing at night and downloading some small files like 2 to 3 mb.

FUP percentage is always between 90% and 98%.

Are you kidding me VISP?

At least reset it when the account is renewed.

CHOU BEKOUN !!!!!
