Almost 4:30am on sunday and still nothing since last night ... Any updates ?

I hope this doesn't turn into something like the month long internet breakage in april 2009.

Seriously this is hopeless , I called someone and getting a new internet tomorrow .. I can't take this anymore it's the 2nd time this month and things are getting worse everyday ..

I'm using a different connection now. If VISP doesn't want to use IMEWE line, it's their problem.

It is unexpected outage, and it is IMEWE. But capacity are plainly not enough.
They will fix or not, we will see on monday.
It was promised that final upgrade, after which no more big outages (completel migration to Ogero and IMEWE, no 3rd party sources) will happen will be after 15 days, but no idea what will be solution for this 15 days.

With all due respect, everything was perfect last week. There is no need for any of this to be happening unless it is purely financial (we can't afford to continue using a good line).

Yes, as i mentioned before, after we get all capacity from Ogero(expected very soon), we will get rid from all ***** service that are supplied from other lebanese providers. For now we will have to search emergency solution at monday.
Example how they work? If you get enough big DDoS, in Lebanon providers don't know how to deal with that, they just shut down problematic customer capacity and they dont care.

Partially, right now we are running on pure Ogero/IMEWE connection, but it is not enough. I cannot disclose more details.

Ok, I went to VISP building. I asked to speak to management. They let me talk to someone called Rabih. he was wearing a suit. He said he doesn't know much about IT but he gave me a professional presentation about how VISP will become the best in 15 days when they get a connection from ministry of telecommunications. Looks like we are stuck without a usable connection for another 15 days.
I explained that only some ports are working but the actual line speed is still pretty good. He admit he didn't know what I was talking about but he was polite enough to say "sorry for the inconvenience and please bare with us for two more weeks". I bet he has MBA.

I was hoping to talk to someone a bit more geekish. Perhaps someone wearing jeans pants with few robots on his/her desk, a stutter and penguin doll. :D

All who is wearing jeans now have butthurt how to restore proper connection before that 15 days :)))
Hopefully management will find way.

we got our Ogero capacity and it is enough for 6 months with fast internet
