I've asked this question in my other thread as a part of editing my post.. but now i am asking it separatly here for more details about it
Will a GeForce 8600 GT SLI-ready (like it says on manufacturer website) run on my MSI K8n Neo4-F motherboard ? my board does not support SLI but i want to use the VGA as a standard single VGA ... will it run fine ? if not, a backward compatibility issue should be raised :D
Thank you!

Yeah, sure. SLI stands for Scalable Link Interface, meaning it can be linked to another. That simple. It will work full potential if on its own. The benefit of SLI is that you can link 2 VGAs and use both their video memory as one. So, if you have 256 and 256, you get 512. That is all. They just sum up. Nothing more. Bottom line is, if you get an SLI, it doesn't matter if your board supports SLI or not. It will work 100%.
