yes it is, but some have said the some functionability (minor things like youtube) of the phone doesn't work (updates are being done to fix these issues)

There's no " legal " unlocking AFAIK.

everything work exept for the yahoo services
prices won't go down just yet until demands decreases

there was a hardware unlock too.. no iphone updates can override it but i can't find that website anymore.. the kid who made it even posted a tutorial on how to do it
