So I had 2 ethernet adapters on my linux box: eth0 and eth1.
I added an additional ethernet adapter (yay, 3!), and ran kudzu to detect it, it did so, and gave it a very poetic name: dev13671
I now have eth0, eth1, and dev13671.
It may have something to do with the recent kernel upgrade that i did manually... I downloaded the vanilla kernel sources from kernel.org and compiled them, replacing the fedora sources. So I might have missed some patch that is needed to have normal ethernet device names (like eth2 instead of dev13671).
If anyone has an idea how to fix that, or if anyone knows a good place where to ask this question, please let me know. Thanks.
