whenenver i run some torrent program (or any file sharing as a matter of fact) my connection stops working on other software.. i heard/read something about session limitation on connections (i have the GDS powered Cyberia "broadband")...
my knowledge in networking is acceptable, but nowhere near good/professional..
any help would be appreciated.
It is due to the session limitation, I had the same problem.
Depending on your client, you may have an option to "limit connections" which may help.
I use "torrentstorm" and it has this option.
You can also upgrade to GDS soho connection which is not session limited.
