Hello there!
I know this might be quite controversial given the place religion holds in Lebanese society, but I was born out of wedlock, which means my parents never married. My father, whose father was a Lebanese national, actually separated from my mother after having me and then got married to another lady.
I've been recently trying to apply for Lebanese citizenship by descent through the Maronite Foundation and I already have submitted my online application. One of the documents that I need to transmit to the nearest Lebanese diplomatic mission is my parent's marriage certificate.
Having no such document in my possession I am starting to wonder whether getting the Lebanese citizenship is at all feasible.
Any insight?
Thank you in advance
