Hey everyone, great to see this community is still going :)
As the subject says I am moving back to beirut in a few months and am looking to get some info:
- Firstly internet, I understand there is fiber now in lebanon? I see on Ogero site that a lot of regions have coverage, does that mean for example that all of Achrafieh now has fiber? or its a building by building basis?
- Whats the good websites to find appartements for rent?
- I will need to buy a new high-end PC are there stores you can recommend that build for you and arent extremely overpriced? (Prefer to support local stores than big chains)
- Any recommendation for a local company that does long-term car leasing?
- Can someone explain to me the lollars situation, am I supposed to exchange all usd to lbp otherwise they charge 1:15000? Should I always avoid paying USD by card in general? how exactly does that all work? Can part of the rent be negotiated in lollars and some in fresh usd or everything nowadays is in fresh usd - what is the norm?
Sorry for the all the questions, I've been away quite some time and I understand a few things have changed since haha
