  • Landline not working and internet speed dropped from 14mbps to 6mbps.

2 days ago internet speed started dropping, I didn't think much about it, probably because of the rain.
Today, the landline phone isn't working anymore, I tried using the router on the cable to verify if it's working, and it did work.

ISP: THGV

I've all the house cables disconnected, I installed 2 new cables from Ogero's box, The first cable comes through the elevator cables to the landline phone, and the second from the balcony directly to the Router.

Likely cable is broken somewhere. It can still pass ADSL signal, because of capacitance, but DC current for landline is unable to pass.
Check also filters on line, some of them might be damaged due EMI.

I have 2 cables installed from ogeros box, both of them have ADSL working but landline phone doesn't work on any of them. Can 1 cable affect the other?

Update: I forgot to mention that while using the filter nothing appears, but connecting the phone directly makes a static noise
Update 2: tested the filter on the router, it's working fine.
It might be damage on Ogero side of cable

I'll contact ogero tomorrow, but incase the damage is on ogeros side will they change the cable or I'll need to hire someone to do it?

If landline not working anymore (this is keypoint!), and it is not working even in ogero box(the one in your building) - this is Ogero zone of responsibility and they should fix it.

I called ogero yesterday about this issue, today they called me back and told me it got fixed, and it actually did. The speed is still 6mbps, is there anything I can do to improve it? those are the new router stats:
