Is Apple TV works properly in Lebanon? is it worth it?

thanks for your reply, but i mainly use apple Eco-system products
Apple TV the hardware device works fine, you can add Netflix or Prime Video on it and watch without issues. However, I don't know anything about Apple TV+ (the netflix competitor).

I have a fireTV 4k (the square one) and the firestick 4k.
Both function normally.

i use roku tv, it came integrated with a tcl tv i shipped from amazon, when signing up i found lebanon listed and everything works fine. you might wanna consider Nvidia Shield TV its the big best thing right now, it does smart 4k upscaling for hd videos without quality reduction, very useful in lebanon if you have a slow internet and wanna watch netflix in 4k.

How did you ship a TV from Amazon if you don't mind me asking
As far as I know Apple tv 4K doesn't support Dolby specifically DTS-HD MA and Dolby True HD.

You may have to install a paid app or service such as infuse. I still believe Nvidia Shield is a better device overall unless you have an Apple ecosystem.

with shipped.io, there was a bug on their site when you add an item with addon item in cart it doesnt get the real weight or dimensions lol. i ordered it a tv with a soundbar, they fixed the bug and shipped the order anyway, they said the price you see is what you pay and they'll take the loss.
I personally use the Apple TV with Plex, if you have a nice server computer you can enjoy thousands of movies/series downloaded straight from the web! Pretty neat IMO

excuse my question: but why roku tv or tcl tv? why not any smart tv from samsung for example?

you may think tcl is not a reputable company due to the cheap indian units we have in lebanon with android os, but its actually a reputable usa company and this tcl tv in particular was the number one best seller on amazon.

they went cheap on the materials it feels very light but they used a high end display, i promise you 2k tv doesnt come close to this, its a 120 hertz 4k bezel-less display with HDR.

i was comparing this with the toshiba fire tv they are head to head, but the fire tv is android os and it lags very often, while roku is butter smooth, i saw a comparison between the two on youtube. the roku player is 99.99$, its built-in in the tv, and comes with alexa and google assistant, it was actually a very good deal.

hmm ok understood, thanks
what is your review concerning roku? does it support any arabic/lebanese channels?
zizo99 wrote what is your review concerning roku? does it support any arabic/lebanese channels?
well im not sure if you get the roku player you get international languages, the tv i have doesn't have arabic and it shows arabic subtitles as unicodes. i was considering getting nvidia shield tv but its does 60 fps only, while roku does 120 fps, i dont think i can go back to 60 fps lol.

EDIT: fire tv, apple tv, and nvidia shield they all set your TV to a refresh rate of 60 Hz, this means if you have 120 Hz tv you wont benefit from that you'll see 60 frames per second.
