i mean i never said that i don't know visual basic !!
i just said it's a poor language, with all due respect to all you vb programmers, and especially you king rhye.
it's fun, yes!! it's very fun, but let's talk performance wise!! have you ever take an exe file and installed on any other platform and ran it?!
have you ever had a vb application not be depended on a minimum of 5 dll files to run?!
let's assume you're programming an application without using any of the dll's that vb usually requires, did you manage to run it without using the setup files, and especially the vbrun*.dll ?!
yes it is fun to program in vb, hell it's even beats playing games, but when it comes to performance and scalability, a well respected company would never say that they program in vb, because it would only mean sloppy programming, and not robust code.
trust me i'd love it for people to pay me 1000$ for an application that i programmed in visual basic, that does whatever, and program it in a couple of days, but in the end VB applications NEED a lot of MAINTENANCE!!
but anyways here's a link that might tell you some stuff about visual basic, that basically SUCK!! :D
