I am trying to redeem a us iTunes card but it doesn't work in a different store than the us..try VPN to the USA l and changing the store..same result.
According to Google ..i should create a us iTunes account..
I tried several times the free account in iTunes (without credit card) but it didn't work
Anyone in the states can help me create an account for me or give me some pointers?

my internet connection is so bad (WACS fiber is cut since more than 20 days - i am in Africa ) and my backup vsat is also extremely bad due to the weather
my us vpn is so slow itunes is opening blank pages ( trying the install free app in itunes trick )
tried so many times my pc got bored

I created both accounts using vpn to us
thank you my friend .. i came here to say i was able to create the US id from inside itunes without installing a free app .. the option for "none" in payment was present .. used an hotel address and phone and it worked normally
