  • Tarom romanian airlines?

Hello
so I am planning a a small trip to Budapest,there is the choice between Tarom Romanian airlines and Turkish airlines but the Tarom is 200$ cheaper, are they good enough?
Tarom is the national airlines, they have existed for a long time.
So is Turkish Airways.
Tarom is budget airlines. Turkish airlines not.

In terms of safety, budget airlines are as safe as any other airlines.
The Boeing 737 Max has issues, so make sure your plane is not that type.
TAROM is just fine, I’ve been on their flights numerous times. Service is not the best but for the price you can’t complain too much. No worries about the 737 MAX as TAROM doesn’t operate this type of aircraft.
Go for Tarom it's a small flight and you won't notice the difference. I have been using their airlines for "escale" for a while. Seats are good enough and they give you a chocolate and juice as food service.
for a 2-3 hours flight, you won't feel the difference and you save 200$.
