Asking about Team T-Force Vulcan RAM

Hello, so I'm looking to upgrade from my 16gb 2133mhz ram to 16gb 3000mhz ram.

I was searching on PCandParts and found something very interesting yet suspicious:

Notice the
Team T-Force Vulcan 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR4 3000 ; $85.00
while all similar siblings (same storage and speed) from other brands are $120+

Does anyone know anything about this type/brand/model of RAM?! Any known issues?!

Haven't heard anything bad about them. They have been quite along time in the ram business.
But i think its because its 1 stick of memory. Did nit check pcandparts for others, but it could also be new in stock that is why its cheap-er than the others.

I have the NightHawk RGB and they are amazing overclocked to 3200Mhz 15-16-16 build quality is superb
never tried the vulcan but for the brand i totally recommend they are big name and featured on LTT several times
Edit: get 2x8 since you will lose lot of performance with ur setup

One question. If I look into my motherboard specs here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z270-GAMING-M5/Specification
I can see: DDR4 MEMORY ==> 3800(OC)/ 3600(OC)/ 3200(OC)/ 3000(OC)/ 2800(OC)/ 2600(OC)/ 2400/ 2133 MHz
What does that (OC) means?! I know it is OverClock, but do they mean "it is overclockable" or that I need to overclock/modify a 3000MHz stick for it to work?! If I buy a 3000MHz RAM stick, will it be plug and play, or will I need to do something special?!

You do not OC any thing mate. DDR4 rams are rated at 2133mhz by default @ 1.2 V. Branded memories are factory OC, the higher the Ram OC & tighter timmings the more binned the memory from factory.

OC'd rams example at 3600mhz you need to just enable the XMP profile from the board bios. The ram core voltage will increase automatically ~ 1.35V and the board will accept that OC ( since its supported by the board memory controller ). Ram will work normal since this OC was tested in the Ram brand manufacturer prior mass release.
