I'm lost between the Huawei Honor 8X vs Huawei Nova 3i

The honor 8x is newer, but the nova 3i is a bit cheaper and no much difference.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
I got recently the Hauwei Mate 20 Pro , very fast indeed , I recommend to think of this choice. I will upgrade to S10 in Q2 2019 sure.

They are similar--wouldn't sweat the details. For me, I wouldn't get them because they still use f&%^g microusb to charge. It is 2018, and I cant imagine not having some sort of quick charge at this point in time. If you can spend another $120 or so, get the Nova 3 (not 3i). It has Huawei's latest processor and supports fast charging with a USB Type C connection and same big display as the other phones.
Find a good deal on a mate 10 pro or a used P20 PRO.
I am also looking for a phone in the 300$ price range, in addition to the Honor 8X and Nova 3i, 2 other phones got my attention,

Samsung A7 2018 version
Nokia 7 Plus

Thanks for the input.

Though i do agree on some of the mentioned features (like the latest processor and the fast charging with USB Type C connection) and would invest the extra 120$ if it was a laptop for say, the IT feature of the phone is it's camera and i have almost no use to that. My usage is restricted to communication and I barely use social media or gaming.

Thank you everyone.

where did you get it from and how much did you pay for it?

I was considering it and an engineers actually suggested to me but couldn't find it on the spot and then went with the cheaper phone.
Again, my usage is limited to communication and it's all i need.

But thanks for the suggestion, it would have been the second best option for me.
